Peace Love and Rainbows what's new for 2012

So today as I type is the last day of 2011, this year was such a exciting year and year of changes.

My oldest started 5th grade and in their school that means a middle schooler, wow can't believe she is in middle school. She is doing great has awesome teachers, and straight A's.

My youngest is in kindergarten, has awesome teachers and loves seeing big sis through out the day. She has made some great friends and I'm room mom (along with another lady who is so sweet). She is doing great and loves school.

Me I went back to college to finish my degree, found out I was out of college too long and had to restart all over. I enjoyed my classes and had a really great teacher for Environmental Science. I learned so much and going to use much of what I learned to make some green changes at the house for 2012.

Peace Love and Rainbows is going to change a tad for 2012 and beyond. I hope your as excited as I am about them.

New Blog Description:

Peace Love and Rainbows is all about Nature, Books, Recycled Art, Open Art, Eco Friendly products, Environmental Issues and Going Green with kids and Living Healthy.

Children's Literature: I still plan to review children's books: from young reader/listener to tween/teen books. some will just be reviews, some will be books and activities.

Art and Art projects: from art we create to art supplies you can make

Science: my girls love science and we will be doing science experiments and posting them and science products we love.

Nature and Animals: my girls want to be zoo keepers when they grow up so we are going to start a animal research book so they can learn all about animals and document their findings. I plan to post some of the neat activities we do.

Living Green in 2012: I plan to post at least weekly maybe twice a week green activities for kids, green steps, and general good for the Earth products, articles and issues.

Cooking: I love to cook and try out new recipes and tweak old recipes I plan to blog about anything good that I make, I am vegan (99.9% of the time with a occasional slip to vegetarian). So my plan is to post how I make a regular recipe and adapt it first to vegan for me then add the rest of the stuff for the rest of the family.

I guess that is it for now hope you enjoy the coming year on Peace Love and Rainbows.
