take a tiny water bottle (we used one from a lunchable) fill it with oil (use a light colored oil) drop food coloring drops in the oil glue cap on and mix!
They wanted to make Green but instead of using green food coloring I used yellow and blue so they could see the food coloring join together to make green. They know their color mixing but love seeing it happen)
These would also be great calming jars since the oil makes the food coloring beads move slowly.
